COVID-19 is no longer a reportable communicable disease and should be treated like any other respiratory virus. 工作人员 members who test positive for COVID-19 are not required to stay home, provided they feel well enough to work, and are not running a fever of 100.4或以上. 工作人员 may return to school once fever free for 24 hours without fever-reducing medication and improved symptoms.
As with any illness and per Board policy, employees who are out more than five consecutive days must submit a medical certification from their healthcare provider. That medical certification should be submitted to the HR Department. Those certifications can be faxed to HR at 903-891-6411 or emailed to Lea Hester at lhester@shermanisd.网.
